Formerly known as Sam’s Sitting, Stay and Play Childcare has been providing event-based childcare in the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years. We focus on providing an all-inclusive, safe, caring, and entertaining environment for children. Over the years we have worked with the National Guard as well as many companies, including Franciscan Health, Microsoft, University of Washington, and Edward Jones. Our small team is comprised of qualified individuals with experience caring for and interacting with kiddos of all ages (newborn - 16). Our different backgrounds include elementary school teachers, dance teachers, nannies/daycare providers, and Boys and Girls Club staff members. We keep a low adult to child ratio and always have a lead teacher in the room. All lead teachers are CPR and first-aid certified. We provide art, crafts, books, movies, games, and toys as entertainment and are experts at making sure the kids have more fun than the grown-ups!

Seattle’s famous Seafair will be happening the same weekend as our wedding! Seafair is a city-wide summer celebration featuring boat races, parades, air shows, and more. While it’s an exciting event, it does bring extra traffic and higher demand for hotels. We strongly recommend booking your accommodations as early as possible and allowing extra travel time if you’re driving to the venue. Please plan ahead so you can enjoy both our wedding and the festivities without any stress!
